Who We Are

Jiketsu Martial Productions (JMP) was founded in 2000 by Sensei Reuben Bean. JMP strives to promote the ancient disciplines of martial arts as a valuable medium of educational and character development for youth and adults alike.

Our unique support system enables members and participants to become mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually respectable and responsible citizens. These objectives further encourage its members to avoid deviant behaviors that may hinder them from achieving such goals.

You are more than welcome to come and visit us at the Jiketsu Center!

Principles of Our Training Philosophy

The Jiketsu Formula

  • Sequence of movements
  •  Sequence of movements with correct timing (cadence)
  • Sequence of movements with correct timing, speed and power
  •  Sequence of movements with correct timing, speed, power and correct expansion and contraction (transition of movements)

Our Dojo

Our Dojo is the true definition of dojo. It is an immersive learning place for experiential learning and meditation. The term dojo literally means “place of the Way” in Japanese. In our open space we desire to create a true environment of growth.
